2011 Seattle Chevrolet Silverado: With so many variations available, there's a Silverado available for just about everyone looking for a full-size truck. The 2011 Chevrolet Silverado is available in five models (Work Truck, LS, LT, XFE, and LTZ), three cab styles (Crew Cab, Extended Cab, and Regular Cab), three bed lengths, four engine choices, and two transmissions. Powering the Work Truck is a standard 4.3-liter V-6 engine that produces 195 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft. of torque. There are two available V-8 engines: a 4.8-liter V-8 that makes 302 horsepower and 305 lb.-ft. of torque and a 5.3-liter V-8 that makes 315 horsepower and 335 lb.-ft. of torque. The LS is outfitted with the 4.8-liter V-8. The LT has one of the two V-8 engines standard, depending on the body style, while the LTZ comes equipped with the 5.3-liter V-8 standard. Some models have an available 6.2 liter V-8 that makes 403 horsepower and 417 lb.-ft. of torque. Transmissions are either 4-speed automatic or 6-speed automatic with auto-manual. Standard safety equipment on the 2011 Seattle Chevrolet Silverado includes antilock brakes with braking assist, stability and traction control, and front side and side curtain airbags.
2012 Seattle Chevrolet Camaro: The legendary Camaro continues to mix power and handling with head-turning good looks. 2012 sees a more powerful V-6 engine, a revised sport suspension on the SS coupe, an available rearview camera, and an upgraded interior. There are four models: LS, LT, SS, and the high-performance 2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 (which debuts later in the model year). The ZL1 will sport a supercharged V-8 that will produce 550 horsepower and 550 lb.-ft. of torque mated to a six-speed Tremec transmission. LS and LT models have an updated 2.6-liter V-6 engine that produces 323 horsepower and 278 lb.-ft. of torque mated to a six-speed manual transmission. A six-speed automatic transmission is optional. The SS is powered by a 6.2-liter V-8 engine that makes 426 horsepower and 420 lb.-ft. of torque with the manual transmission and 400 horsepower and 419 lb.-ft. of torque with the automatic. The 2012 Seattle Chevrolet Camaro features standard safety equipment that includes antilock disc brakes with electronic brakeforce distribution, stability and traction control, front-seat side airbags, full-length side curtain airbags, and OnStar.
2012 Seattle Chevrolet Impala: The fact that the Chevrolet Impala has been used for everything from a police cruiser to a taxi speaks to its versatility. Maybe that's the reason the model is still going strong after more than 50 years. For 2012, the Impala gets updated front and rear styling, a new more powerful and more fuel-efficient 3.6-liter V-6 engine, standard Bluetooth, and a standard leather-wrapped steering wheel. The LT model gets a rear spoiler, leather-wrapped shift knob, flip-and-fold rear seat, and an optional sunroof. The full-size four-door sedan comes in three models: LS, LT, and LTZ. The 2012 Seattle Chevrolet Impala is powered by a 3.6-liter direct-injection V-6 engine that produces 300 horsepower and 262 lb.-ft. of torque mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Fuel economy has been improved over the previous model year, with EPA estimates at 18 mpg city/30 mpg highway. Standard safety equipment includes antilock brakes with electronic brakeforce distribution, traction and stability control, front side airbags, side curtain airbags, and OnStar telematics. The Impala received the top ranking of "Good" in government frontal-offset and side-impact tests and the second-best rating of "Acceptable" in the roof strength test.
2012 Seattle Chevrolet Malibu: The Malibu was a subseries of the Chevrolet Chevelle from its start in 1964 until GM spun it off into its own model line in the 1978 model year. GM stopped production of the rear-wheel drive intermediate car after the 1983 model year and resurrected the Malibu as a front-wheel drive car in 1997. The Malibu wins praise for its attractive styling, spacious trunk, user-friendly interior design, and powerful V-6 engine option. The 2012 Seattle Chevrolet Malibu is available in three models: LS, LT, and LTZ. All models are powered by a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 169 horsepower and 160 lb.-ft. of torque mated to a six-speed automatic transmission with manual shift control. LT and LTZ models have an available 2.6-liter V-6 which makes 252 horsepower and 251 lb.-ft. of torque paired with the six-speed automatic. Standard safety equipment includes antilock disc brakes, stability control, traction control, front seat side-impact airbags, side curtain airbags and OnStar.
2011 Seattle Chevrolet Tahoe: With seating for up to nine, impressive towing capability, and outstanding fuel economy for a large truck-based SUV, the Tahoe stands out in its class. Ride and handling are surprisingly good for an SUV of its size and the Tahoe is equally at home transporting passengers as it is towing a boat or a trailer. The 2011 Chevrolet Tahoe is powered by a 5.3-liter V-8 engine that makes 320 horsepower and 335 lb.-ft. of torque paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. 4WD models are available with a choice of either a two-speed transfer case or a single-speed unit without low-range gearing. EPA-estimated fuel economy is 15 mpg city/21 mpg highway. Properly outfitted, the Tahoe can tow up to 8,500 pounds. The 2011 Seattle Chevrolet Tahoe is available in three trim levels: LS, LT and LTZ. There's also a hybrid model. Standard safety features include antilock brakes with electronic brakeforce distribution, stability and traction control, front-seat side airbags, side curtain airbags, and OnStar.
2012 Seattle Buick Enclave: Buick’s successful full-size crossover is little changed for 2012, but adds a few important features while dropping the CX and CXL trim level names. Taking the place of the trim designations are Enclave Base, Convenience, Leather and Premium packages. Hill-hold assist braking is standard and holds the brakes for 1.5 seconds after the driver removes his or her foot from the brake pedal on five percent or steeper inclines. Electronic pedal override cuts engine power when the brake and accelerator are pressed at the same time, thus avoiding unintended acceleration. As before, the Enclave is offered in front- and all-wheel drive. A 3.6-liter, direct-injected, V-6 engine powers all 2012 Seattle Buick Enclave models, and produces 288 horsepower and 270 lb.-ft. of torque. A six-speed, electronically controlled automatic transmission delivers power to the wheels. Enclave features seating for six or seven depending on which second row is selected. Bose premium audio system is standard with the Premium package and available on all others, while leather seating, heated front seats and upgraded seat adjustments for driver and front passenger are standard on the Leather and Premium option groups.
2012 Seattle Buick Regal: After a seven-year absence, Buick reintroduced the Regal in 2011 as a sporty midsize sedan that's based on Europe's Opel Insignia. The Regal, which seats up to five, offers a great ride, nimble handling, plenty of power, and is poised to compete with upscale sports sedans like the Volkswagen Passat, Acura TSX, and Audi A4. New for 2012 are a black chrome waterfall grille and new portholes on the hood. The Regal's 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine is now capable of running on E85 ethanol. Powering the 2012 Seattle Buick Regal is a choice of four engines, depending on model/package. The base Regal is equipped with a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine producing 182 horsepower and 172 lb.-ft. of torque mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. The Turbo and GS have a 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder that makes 270 horsepower and 295 lb.-ft. of torque. The Turbo has a standard six-speed automatic and an optional six-speed manual, while the GS is only available with the six-speed manual. The light-hybrid Regal eAssist combines a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine and a six-speed automatic transmission with a 15 horsepower electric motor to provide additional acceleration.
2012 Seattle Buick LaCrosse: For 2012, the full-size luxury sedan adds a 2.4-liter Ecotec four-cylinder engine with eAssist light hybrid technology. The system enables the LaCrosse return EPA-estimated fuel economy of 25 mpg city and 36 mpg highway, while still offering the driving experience of a V-6 engine. Speaking of the V-6, revisions increase horsepower to 303 and add E85 capability. The 2012Seattle Buick LaCrosse is available with seven product equipment groups: LaCrosse Base, Convenience, Leather, Premium, Premium II, Premium III and Touring. They replace the previous CX, CXL and CXS trim lines and exterior badging. Buick IntelliLink adds Bluetooth and USB connectivity from a smart phone to a new seven- or eight-inch, high-resolution, full-color touch screen display radio. IntelliLink expands Bluetooth and USB capabilities to enable smart phone control via voice activation and steering wheel-mounted controls. Streaming audio from the phone with services such as Pandora Internet radio and Stitcher SmartRadio.
2012 Seattle Buick Verano: The Verano is Buick’s first entry into the compact luxury segment, entering an arena that includes the Lexus IS 250 and Infiniti G25. A 2.4-liter, direct-injection four-cylinder engine developing 180 horsepower and mated to a six-speed automatic powers the 2012 Seattle Buick Verano. The 2.4 is E85 capable. A 2.0-liter turbocharged engine will be offered later. Verano is equipped with Buick’s new IntelliLink system and its enhanced Bluetooth and USB phone and audio streaming connectivity and voice control features. Buick applies several sound damping technologies, including liquid, foam and fiberglass blankets. Front suspension uses decoupled MacPherson struts, while the rear features a Watts Z-link design. Safety features include 10 airbags, including front, side-impact, side-curtain and front occupant knee airbags, antilock brakes with electronic brake-force distribution, seat belt pre-tensioners and load limiters in front, StabiliTrak electronic stability control and collapsible pedal system.
